A very good pair of RAF 1941 Pattern Boots, quite possibly the best you will find.
A good size 9 (UK) the Boots are in remarkable condition with none of the usual defects we expect of this pattern. The soles are the original “Itshide” rubber soles showing light wear only as does the original heal. Most importantly, the rubber Galosh sections formed of a rubber coating around the bottom 35mm of the shoes are in perfect condition and completely free from loss or cracks.
The brown suede shoes and uppers are very good and the full-length zips work perfectly. Both ankle straps are without damage and remain supple. Inside, the fur is without loss and remains clean.
The tongues carry an AID ink stamp with the size and 22c number written by hand along with an ink AM Crown stamp.
It would be difficult to upgrade these perfectly matched boots.
