A very good example of a 1937 dated second pattern Luftwaffe man’s Belt Buckle and tab.
Constructed in die struck aluminium with pebbled face plate and second pattern eagle withing a laurel wreath the Buckle is in very good undamaged condition with just light wear to the high points on the eagle. The reverse has JD stamped into the buckle for J.Deustchebein of Eurkirchen, the name appearing in full on the tab.
The tab itself is in brown leather with 1937 stamped into the leather and surrounded by the maker’s name. The leather remains supple with all stitching intact.
