A very good original example of a Crowbar as fitted to Spitfire doors, and seen in so many posed shots during the way years.
Constructed as a hollow tube with an insert at each, these were originally fitted to the MkV onwards, with earlier types being retro fitted to hold them.
This example is in its wartime unpainted state (safety regulations requiring later examples to be painted red) and in very good condition with a good AM and Crown stamp and date 3 / 41 along with other stamps.
