A very nice example of an inter war produced stamped and gilded Kaiserliche Marine U Boat Qualification Badge, non maker marked but attributed to AWS' (A. Werner & Sohne, Berlin)
Made during the 1920s – 30s to be later superseded by the Third Reich design it follows exactly the pattern of those used from its institution right through WW1.
Very good overall condition with horizontal pin back.
