British War Correspondent Shoulder Slip

Under the terms of the Geneva Convention War Correspondents and other civilians serving alongside the armed services were to be treated as officers if they wore a recognised uniform.
Worn as a slip on the shoulder strap this British War Correspondent slip is embroidered in white cotton thread on a green cotton sleeve and would have been locally made in either India or the Far East
Very good condition with some marks to the underside.
