ENSA Shoulder Title

An unissued and excellent example of the larger size ENSA (Entertainments National Service Association) Shoulder Title in black wool with white machine embroidered lettering and border.
Intended to be worn on the so called “Basil Dress”, named after Basil Dean the creator of ENSA, this actual piece is shown on page 331 of "Badges on Battledress" by Jon Mills
