SS Sleeve Eagle - "Ugly Bird"

A very good unissued example of the variant SS Sleeve Eagle known to collectors, for obvious reasons, as the Ugly Bird.

Machine woven in a silver grey thread on a black wool backing, this example is in very good unused condition and cut from a roll.

Generally thought to have been made by inmates at Dachau they were most probably also produced at other camps and certainly I once had a very small number with absolute provenance to Buchenwald.
