An interesting and clearly unfinished example of the Schutzpolizei Sleeve Badge, no doubt liberated from factory stores prior to completion.
Machine embroidered in a green thread on a lightweight cotton backing for the summer uniform, the stages of manufacture would have been the addition of the Swastika in black thread and the city name, which did not take place.
