A very good example of a WW1 German Binocular Case for the D.F. 03 6x24 Binoculars. (See page 89 of Fernglaser und Fernrohre by Hans Seeger)
Constructed in a heavy card material, then black coated to allow some water resistant protection, it has a leather lid and side closure straps, two leather belt loops and a vertical metal fitting to attach to a support strap.
Overall condition is very good.
