A very good example of a WW1 St. John Ambulance Brigade Water Bottle in blue clad enamel steel, contained in the typical black heavy wool cover and with the cork in place.
The harness is in brown leather with a partly discernable stamping to the maker and a 1916 date, the shoulder strap with the typical heavy cotton insert attached with copper rivets which match those to the rest of the harness.
Overall condition is very good, the cover free from moth or other damage, the harness supple and strong
