A very nice lightly used example of an other ranks Black Panzer M34 field or overseas Cap.
Constructed in black wool, overall condition is very good and free from damage of any description.
Insignia is in the BeVo weave style, the eagle in grey thread on a black background as is the cockade which in turn sits beneath the golden yellow Soutache of the cavalry.
At each side is a single non magnetic vent eyelet, one showing the remains of a field grey enamel finish.
The interior is lined in a grey cotton with the maker stamp of Willy Sprengpfeil typically appearing on the left side along with the size 56 and 1940 date. This style of Sprengpfeil stamp is known to collectors as the “large date stampâ€.
The eagle has been recently re applied and hand stitched into place, as is the cockade.
