WW1 Period Leather Holster - Webley Automatic?

Although typically British in manufacture this small leather Holster is unmarked and is possibly for the WW1 .38 Webley automatic pistol. Certainly all aspects of its appearance including the suspension straps and attachment clips suggest it is of the period.
Overall condition is excellent with almost no signs of use and with no damage to the leather or stitching. Both spring clips work well.
