A good example of the St. Johns Ambulance uniform Waterbottle seen in so many wartime images of the Brigade engaged in rescue operations around the UK.
This is the MkV11 Waterbottle, introduced in 1939 and carried in the 1905 pattern leather General Service Carrier.
The carrier is in excellent condition and distinguished by its fabric section at the top of the shoulder.
The Bottle itself is in good condition but missing its cork chain and with a number of moth holes and trails to the three part felt cover. Because of the early style blue enamelled bottle these are not too obvious. The top of the cover is dusty but not stained.
