A nicely combat worn example of the standard Wehrmacht issue splinter pattern reversable helmet cover, the underside in white cotton for snow conditions. Issued to Heer and Luftwaffe units from the beginning of 1942.
A waxed drawstring is in place to secure the cover to the helmet.
Overall condition is very good with two small repaired holes most obvious on the white underside and wear where the helmet peak has cut through the material.
A medium size, the cover is displayed on a 62 sized shell and might not fit a larger size.
