An excellent 1942 dated WAAF (Women's Auxiliary Air Force) Shirt.
Constructed in a lightweight blue "end-on-end" cotton weave which gives it a characteristically subtle textured, pale blue appearance. Collarless by design this example opens fully at the front and is closed by four plastic buttons matching one on each cuff. There is one open pocket on the left breast.
Complete with two 14 ½” collars matching the size 4 of the Shirt. Both collars are AM stamped, one dated 1941and named to C Thomas 890110 whilst the Shirt itself is also clearly AM stamped and size 4.
Both Shirt and collars are in very good clean condition and free from damage.
