A very nice British 1914 Pattern Leather Rifle dated 1916.
Whilst Leather Rifle Slings of this type can be found, finding aWW1 example is difficult.
Clearly maker marked and dated “HGR 1916” to one end, as well as being in good service used condition overall with the leather soft and pliable.
Overall condition is very good with both sliding leather adjustment loops and its original leather tying lace.
