A very good pair of 1940 dated British Army Ankle Boots also knows as Marching or Ammunition Boots.
A good size 10L (L referring to the Large or Wide fitting) the Boots have the original soles and studs (hob nails) and I believe the original leather laces.
Constructed in a pebbled black dyed leather with toe cap they are nicely maker stamped and of course dated 1940, the upper edge of the ankle leather with a WD inspector’s stamp.
Perfect for the previous similarly dated three items all three of which would make an excellent early war display.
