A late example of the 1st Pattern Luftwaffe Dagger by E & F Horster.
The hilt mounts are of pot metal the silvered finish and gilding to the sun wheel Swastikas now gone. The blue Moraccan covered grip remains very good, the twisted brass wire decoration in place.
Below the crossguard the blue leather buffer remains. The polished blade itself is very good, free from damage and with just minor marks at the risacco, the Horster Logo clear.
The scabbard is very good, the matching blue leather covering without loss, the steel mounts with their plating intact. All five fixing screws are in place.
Attached to the scabbard rings is a good aluminium chain with 7 upper ringlets and 10 lower ringlets. They are attached to an aluminium clip which is OLC marked.
