An excellent example of a British Made 1937 Pattern Battledress blouse in a good size 10.
A perfect match to the previous listing and with two other uniform items I will be listing shortly, the Blouse is dated 1940 and is in excellent condition, free from moth.
Front closure is by five dished brass buttons, one of which is missing, the collar closed by two hooks and eyes.
There are two pleated and flapped breast pockets both missing their dished brass buttons.
Each sleeve is closed by two brass buttons, the waist by the usual belt and friction buckle. Both shoulder straps have vegetable ivory buttons.
Inside, there are two pockets, a good clear 1940 dated label and a 1941 inspector’s stamp.
It would be difficult to upgrade this early example.
