WW1 Canadian Medical Corps Captain's Cuff Rank Tunic

WW1 Canadian Medical Corps Captain's Cuff Rank Tunic

Code: 56444

SOLD

A very nice example of WW1 period Cuff Rank Tunic to a  Captain in the Canadian Medical Corps

Tailored in gabardine typical of the period, each cuff carries the rank insignia of a Captain. There are two pleated and flapped breast pockets and two lower bellows pockets. Front closure is by four buttons and all buttons, including those to the shoulder straps are Canadian Medical Corps and London made.

Each collar has an Canadian Medical Corps bronze collar badge and a “Canada” title in golden wire sits on each shoulder strap.

Above the left breast pocket are ribbons for the WW1 trio and another which I suspect may be a military OBE although the colours appear to have run.

Overall condition is very good with about four unobtrusive moth holes.
