A lovely example of a pin back WW1 Iron Cross of two piece construction with Iron core and silver frame.
The Cross has the appealing convex shape favoured for better fit when worn on a tunic.
Overall condition is very good with just the slightest loss to the original black paint on the high points of the W and Crown to the core.
Marked 800 to the reverse indicating the silver content (800/1000). Pin, hinge and catch are perfect.
A very attractive piece.
