An excellent non maker marked WW1 Prussian Observers Badge for an officer of the Fliegertruppe of Imperial Germany.
Whilst generally found in either a silver plated brass or 800 silver, this rarely encountered example is made in 935 silver, the fixing pin clearly stamped to reflect this.
Attractive with the starburst back, overall condition is very good the enamelled centre piece free from chips, the rest of the badge without damage but with slight rocking to the closure catch.
