A 1937 pattern Kriegsmarine Officer or Senior NCO’s, White rayon/cotton blend Tunic in a good large size of about a 39”- 40”chest. Perhaps never used again after having been laundered, the Tunic is without insignia or the removable buttons.
There are four flapped and pleated pockets and four button holes for the single front closure. Above the right breast pocket are three loops to accommodate a metal pin back eagle and on each shoulder is an opening and button tab to take the T boards. The collar is of the lay flat style introduced with the ’37 pattern Tunic and each sleeve terminates in a faux French cuff.
Inside, the Tunic is unlined and carries size stamps under the button cover flap on the right side.
Overall condition is very good with some light spotting.
