A very nice example of a Kriegsmarine Single Decal M40 helmet, now becoming very difficult to find.
An EF64 with a lot number of 22447, the shell has the field grey granulated finish and is without damage. The single Huber Jordan & Koerner decal shows a small amount of loss but remains much better than those generally found on Kriegsmarine Helmets.
Inside, the leather tongues of the liner remain soft and without loss but with one significant tear and surface wear in places around the edges. The chinstrap is intact, the markings no longer discernible.
Overall, a very nice and unmolested Kriegsmarine Helmet.
