An unissued and virtually as new example of 1919 dated British Army Trench Cap.
Completely free from damage of any kind, the cap is constructed in gabardine and retains its typically wartime thin leather chinstrap and general service buttons. The cloth peak, or visor is reenforced by multiple rows of stitching, the Cap sides each with a pair of brass eyelets.
Inside, the lining is clean, the crown with the maker’s name partially visible and size 6 1/2 and a WD inspector’s stamp. The Cap displays well on a normal male display head.
