The first of four listings all absolutely appropriate for a B.E.F / Dunkirk or later display is this superb 1939 dated British Brodie helmet.
Showing no sign of ever having been worn or indeed issued the shell retains all the original early factory paint finish but with clear evidence of it having been stacked for storage, the inner rim clearly stamped F&L 179 1/1939.
The chinstrap is in as new condition as is the crown pad, the liner very good with just slight surface grazing. Clearly impressed in the fibre liner bands is Vero, 1939, 6 ½
It would be very difficult to upgrade this lovely example.
