An outstanding example of a 1939 Iron Cross Second Class in what I believe can justifiably be described as being in mint condition.
Complete with it’s full length ribbon the Cross itself retains an absolutely flawless finish to the black magnetic core and excellent frosting to the silver frame.
Produced by the well know maker Maria Schenkl, the suspension ring carries the 27 stamp of that company.
A superb piece.
