This is the later variant with aluminium fittings to both the Dagger and Scabbard. The polished aluminium pommel has very slight skuffs at the top, the gilding to the Swastika, very good. The grip is covered in undamaged blue Moroccan leather, the twists of wire firmly in position. The crossguard is without damage, the gilding to the Swastika without damage.

Below the crossguard, the blue leather buffer is in place. The blade itself is full length, without damage but with some greying which I have tried to show in the images. The WKC Knight’s head remains, the crossgraining obvious.

Moving to the Scabbard, the leather covering is very good, the Scabbard itself free from damage as are the aluminium fitting which also retain their five fitting screws. The aluminium hanging chain has 7 ringlets at the top and 9 at the bottom, the belt hook with a strong closure spring.

My only note on the Scabbard would be the slack retaining springs which allow the dagger to fall free if turned upside down.
