A very good example of 1939 Spange for the Iron Cross Second Class, compete with its original sales box.

Constructed in zinc with a silver plating, the Spange retains virtually all of its plated finish but with slight evidence of the zinc pest just showing through, the tombac fixing prongs still folded on the reverse. Unmarked, I believe the maker is perhaps Deumer.

The box is the second type, marked LDO on the inside lid, the Spange sitting on red velvet inset. Both lid top and base of the box are marked with what I believe to be shop inventory details.

A particularly nice set with both Spange and Box in very good condition
