A very nice example of a Mk1* British Helmet, refurbished for use in WW2 with the new liner.
Complete with net, the shell appears completely free from damage with virtually all the period applied paint intact, the 53 stamped to the rim synonymous with the WW1 helmets.
Inside, the early liner is in very good condition, the liner tongues still supple and without damage. The fibre bands are stamped to Vero, 1938 and size 6 ¾.
A very nice and rather rare Helmet.
