A clearly unissued and near excellent pair of a British 1941 dated P37 Battledress Trousers complete with what I believe to be the correct pair of period braces.
Completely free from stains, moth or other damage the Trousers are a good size 10 and retain the label of Rego Clothing Ltd. showing a waist size of 31” – 32” appropriate for a height of 5’9” – 5’ 10” (inside leg 31”)
In keeping with the pattern there is one side pocket at each side, a large, flapped pocket on the upper left leg and a pleated and buttoned dressings pocket on the right side along with a rear flapped and buttoned pocket.
The fly is closed by five buttons and there are four buttoned belt loops around the waist with inside buttons for the braces. In addition there are buttons for securing the Trousers to a Blouse and at the bottom of each trouser leg are three buttons and a strap to close the leg for wear with gaiters. All buttons are of dished brass and in place.
It would not be possible to upgrade this pair of excellent P37 Trousers
