A particularly nice example of a German M16 Helmet in overall very good condition, the shell completely free from damage.
Although no size markings are obvious the leather liner band measure 64 cms. and this would appear to be confirmed by the A2 vent lugs appropriate to that size.
The exterior has taken on a nice patina with some evidence of the factory finish paint whilst almost all the original paint remains inside.
All three pairs of leather tongues remain with their inside pockets and ties in place, one with the padding still in place. The front liner tongue has worn through along about half of its length. The crown is stamped 647.
There is no chinstrap.
