A good pair of German Second Pattern Tropical breeches constructed in a smooth Olive / Khaki cotton.
The fly is closed by four dished zinc buttons, two of which are missing. A further two matching buttons close the waistband.
There are two diagonal unflapped pockets and a small watch pocket at the front with one back pocket closed by a single zinc button. Each leg terminates at the calf, tapes allowing them to be closed tight for wear inside the high lace up boots.
The breeches are unlined, and the suspender buttons have been removed from the support loops inside. The hidden waistbelt is also missing.
Ink stamped markings on the inner waistband have become somewhat blurred with washing but there is a two digit 44 date.
With the exception of the missing buttons and belt, the Breeches are in very good condition with some very minor rust stains only and will display very well with a Tropical Tunic.
