Good used condition army Narvik Shield constructed in silver finished zinc with the majority of the silver wash now absorbed into the zinc matrix.
A rare variation by Deschler the shield has a crisp strike with strong detail. All 4 pins are in place. Complete with field grey wool cloth, plate and paper backing.
The shield was awarded to all German forces that took part in the battles of Narvik between the 9th April and 8th June, 1940.
