Measuring 625mm x 570mm framed, a limited edition print numbered 23/100 by peter Archer and entitled Smith George Cross.
A member of the Long Range Desert Group the footnote to the print reads “Signalman Kenneth Smith was awarded the George Cross for his gallant action on the island of Ist in the Adriatic, on January 10th 1945 when he saved the lives of civilians by personally removing a time bomb from a house. He was killed in his attempt to reach open ground.”
Beautifull framed and signed in pencil by the artist both print and frame are in excellent condition.
