Luftwaffe Fallschirmjager Qualification Badge in Cloth with Patriotic Booklet
(Fallschirmschjagerabzeichen) Constructed with a dark grey wool backing the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver / grey oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon overlaid by a diving golden yellow Luftwaffe eagle clutching a Swastika, The reverse with a cotton cloth backing.
The Badge came with a small patriotic booklet entitled “Helden (Heroes) der Werhmacht”, this one to Hellmuth Arpke, Fallschirmjager Knights Cross winner.
Both items are in very good used condition.
