The knife features a roughly 160mm non-fullered blade, the knife itself about 280mm in overall length. The blade is in very good condition with perhaps just the slightest evidence of sharpening. One side of ricasso is well marked with a stamped, Luftwaffe style, WaA 5 confirming the knife was an issue item.
The wooden grips are in very good condition and secured to the blade tang by three small, dome headed, steel rivets.
The knife fits securely into it’s original black painted steel scabbard with rear sprung fitting for boot or belt wear, again in very good condition.
