A rare pair of Luftwaffe M40 Straight Trousers worn with both the four pocket tunic and the Fliegerbluse.
Constructed in the standard wool rayon mix, the Trousers feature two diagonal front slash pockets and a small watch pocket with ring above to attach the watch fob. At the back is a single pocket without flap.
There are four fly buttons, a single waist button and eight buttons around the waistband for suspenders. A "V" shaped opening in the waistband allows for adjustment with the rear belt and claw buckle. The linen waistbelt lining carries size markings and what I believe to be an LBA 1944 stamp
Overall condition is very good with signs of slight wear only to the seat and inner legs.
Original WW2 Luftwaffe Trousers are seldom found as most were worn to destruction in post war years.
