A lightly used Second Pattern EM/NCO’s flight blouse with insignia to the flying branch and with external hip pockets as introduced on May 6TH 1940. Overall condition is very good with no obvious signs of moth or other damage.

Constructed in a Luftwaffe blue/grey, wool/rayon material construction with front closure with buttons and hidden button holes on the left front panel. The blouse has small fold back lapels, a lay down collar and a single metal hook and eye at the neck for a secure closure.

The right breast features a second pattern, machine embroidered Luftwaffe eagle in silver/grey threads on  blue/grey wool base. The eagle is machine stitched to the  blouse.

There are two horizontal slash front hip pockets with rounded front corner button down flaps. The waistline side seams each have three, vertically aligned, stitched eyelets for the belt support hooks.

The slip on shoulder straps are Luftwaffe blue/grey wool with the golden yellow rayon waffenfarbe of the flying branch. The shoulder strap fabric retaining loops and buttons are all intact. The collar has golden yellow wool collar tabs with three aluminium, rank "gulls" for an Obergefreiter. The upper left sleeve has double bright silver/aluminium, rank chevrons for the same rank. Each cuff has an internal cuff with adjusting strap and button.

The interior is partially lined in light grey rayon with two internal breast pockets and a dressings pocket with size stampings visible showing a chest size of 96cms, roughly 38”.
