A fine example of a Luftwaffe Officer’s Fliegerbluse tailored in high quality Trikot wool.
The blouse features the two open hip pockets and is closed at the front by four hidden buttons with a lay down collar. On the right breast is an eagle, hand embroidered in silver wire and hand applied. On the left breast are the loops for one award.
On each shoulder are the stitched in shoulder straps of an Oberleutnant in the flying branch. The collar is piped with the silver twist cord of an officer while the collar tabs are again appropriate to the rank and branch of service.
Inside, the lining is in artificial silk with a single pocket and dagger hanger.
Overall appearance is very good with little if any signs of use but with some light moth damage to the left arm and beneath the collar, all of which I have shown in the images. There are also some slight nips on the back.
A lovely example with a chest size of about 36”
