A very good example of a Luftwaffe Radio Operator / Air Gunner Badge by C.E Juncker, Berlin SW.
Constructed in Tombac, this is what is known as the J2 version and generally considered to have been produced between mid1940 and 1943.
Crisp detail and of the highest quality as to be expected with Juncker. Stamped C.E.Juncker Berlin S.W to reverse.
Overall condition is very good. The eagle sits firmly in place, the rivets secure and the pin set up is very good, with no repairs. The silver plating to the wreath is very good, some fading to the chemically darkened eagle from light service use.
Weight, 38.31 grams.
A lovely badge from a desirable maker.
