An exceptionally nice example of Luftwaffe Radio Operator / Air Gunners Badge by JMME.
Constructed in a silvered Tombac with a chemically darkened eagle, the Badge remains in excellent condition, the wreath retaining virtually all of its silvered finish. The eagle remains securely fastened to the wreath with the small rivets typical of the maker, and with just the right amount of wear to the high points, the result of light service use.
To the reverse the maker’s initials remain clear, the pin setup in the same undamaged and functioning condition.
A beautiful badge which would prove difficult to upgrade.
