A well matched set of left and right hand Cartridge Carrier Pouches for the Pattern 08 Webbing, the left one dated 1915 and the right one undated.
Similar in terms of colour and service wear, with the 1915 left one appearing to be unblancoed, whilst the undated right one has been blancoed, but this has mostly faded/washed out, leaving the set a decent colour match.
The left hand Carrier is issue marked to the Royal Engineers and shows wear to the webbing flaps on the top two pouches. In addition, there appears to be a well-executed field repair to the male press fastener of the lower centre pouch which I have shown in the images.
The right hand one is issue marked to 2nd Battalion Monmouthshire Regiment. Overall condition is good with all press studs present and functioning well.
