Panzer Assault Badge by Assmann In Hollow Cupal

A good example of a Panzer Assault Badge in silver by Assmann & Sohne.

Constructed in a hollow Cupal (copper and aluminium) the badge is in very good condition and free from damage, the Assmann company logo clearly discernible on the reverse.

Covered on page 135 Vol. 1 of Philippe de Bock’s excellent work, “The German Panzer assault Badge of World War11” where he describes this variant as “Grainy Finish”.
