A cosmetically very acceptable example of a 1943 dated Panzer Assault Badge in Silver.
Non maker marked but by the maker Steinhauer und Luc, the Badge is constructed in zinc, the obverse in very good condition, the features clear but showing evidence of service use.
The reverse is slightly dished with 1943 scratched into the surface. Whist the closure catch is originally soldered into place, the hinge and pin have clearly been reapplied or repaired.
The Badge will display very well and would be ideal for decorating a Tunic or Wrapper, the price compensating for the repair which would remain unseen when Badge in place.
