Rare "Round 3" 1939 Iron Cross Second Class in LDO case by Deschler.

A very good condition 1939 "Round 3" Iron Cross Second Class, typically unmarked but attributed to Deschler und Söhne of Munich.
Manufactured with a silver-plated neusilber frame and a black finished magnetic iron core. Minor veining, rust spots and wear to the core but nothing too detracting. Frame with age patina.
Complete with the original early first pattern LDO case in good worn condition.
Silver foil impressed LDO logo to the outer lid with a beige flocked interior.
The paper hinge is intact but slightly fragile.
A piece of original EKII ribbon is housed in the case.
Quite a desirable set.
