A 1939 dated British Mk11 Brodie helmet with the divisional Flash of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps.
The shell is without damage and shows overall well service used condition to the original early war brown finish, the horizontal diamond shaped flash being about 70% intact.
Inside, the brim is stamped although the stampings are rather difficult to make out, the oil cloth liner tongues in very good undamaged condition. The liner bands are dated 1939, size 7 and with the manufacture’s initials to Compton sons and Webb.
A very nice original helmet
