An exceptionally rare example of the RAF Type 19 Microphone, so synonymous with the Battle of Britain period.
The Microphone itself retains the illusive on/off switch but has lost the upper strip of the Bakelite terminals U shaped block on the lower edge of the Microphone. In addition there is a dent in the body misaligning one of the attachment points for the mask. This should be very easy to bend back into shape, but I never touch anything. The cord is very good and complete with a good brown connector plug and an AM pair of 13466 telephone receivers.
I am not aware of another Type 19 Microphone assembly currently available anywhere, such is the rarity of these pieces.
