A WWII US M4 Knife Bayonet by Camillus, with US M8 scabbard and frog by B.M.Co.
Introduced to fit the M1 Carbine, these were only produced between October 12,1944 until April 1945.
The sprung pommel is marked with the initials SP for the Standard Products Company and carries a serial number. The compressed leather grip is very good, the crossguard marked M4 Camillus. The blade is also very good and without damage, showing light service sharpening towards the point.
Finally the M8 scabbard is again without damage and stamped US M8, the frog, retaining strap, press fastener and belt hook all in place.
