An absolutely classic example of a WW1 British Army Water Bottle, ideally suited to the previously listed Water Bottle carrier.
The Bottle itself is blue enamelled with the top ridge obvious underneath the ginger chopped wool covering, itself free from moth damage and with only slight stretch and wear to the bottom right-hand end. Of importance is the manufacture’s stamping to the base which I have never encountered before.
Both the cork stopper and string are in place and undamaged.
A rare item in very good condition.
